• Summon System

  • Summoned Cubic
A Cubic is a type of summoned creature that carries out assigned tasks faithfully!

Currently, Temple Knights and Shillien Knights are capable of summoning a Cubic. In hunting activities, Cubics assist in attacks, both directly and indirectly. In order to summon a Cubic, one needs a certain amount of crystals and skills. These Cubics will provide a fun new element in the Lineage II world.

    Types of Cubic
    • Storm cubic: Attacks a target that its master selects with a wind knife.
    • Vampiric cubic: Has a vampiric touch that can restore its master's physical strength.
    • Poltergeist cubic: Casts a curse to its enemy with curses, such as Slow, Curse Weakness, etc.
    • Life cubic: Restores its master's HP.
    • Viper cubic: Poisons its enemy to reduce its HP.
    Features of a Cubic
    • Depending on the master's skill type, a Cubic may have the ability to perform multiple summonses.
    • No separate command window exists. According to one's assigned role, a Cubic carries out tasks using its master's intelligence.
    • Along with a Cubic, a separate summoner or a pet may be kept.
    • A Cubic cannot perform targeting, nor is it impacted by any type of attack. However, it can be forcefully dispersed by dispel magic.
    Addition of Set Items
When a character wears particular items that come as a set, the character can gain additional effects such as an increase in the recovery speed of HP/MP or an increase in moving speed.

  • Taming System

  • Basics of Taming
Taming literally means "to domesticate or to train". In Lineage II, a player can tame a pre-existing NPC to become their pet. Unlike other summons or magic, as long as certain conditions are met, a pet will not be bound by time limitations, nor will it be dismissed by force.

    - Object of Taming
Initially, the object of taming is limited to two types of NPCs: Wolf (level 15) and Hatchling (level 35).

    - Conditions for Taming
The level of a character that performs taming should be higher than the level of the monster that is being tamed. It is not possible to perform taming if a character has already summoned a monster or while already in the process of taming.

    - Calling a Tamed Pet
In order to call a pet, a character should not have a monster that has already been summoned. A pet cannot be called during a war. They can be called using an item that controls tamed monsters in the character's inventory.

    Raising a Pet
In order to raise a pet, meat should be fed regularly. The pet will run away if its "hunger gauge" reaches its end. You can store meat in your inventory to use as needed. A pet's level can go up by sharing the experience level of hunting. As a pet's level goes up, the pet will acquire more skills and be able to use them. A pet's skills are registered in the skill window. A character controls their pet's active skills just as they control their own active skills.
